From 10th April 2014 Drivers may take their test in automatic LGV vehicles and providing they already hold a manual licence in another category eg: car, bus , 7.5 tonner, they will be given a manual LGV licence.
To meet this change Viamaster Training has added MAN Automatic LGV C Rigid Goods and DAF Automatic LGV CE Articulated Vehicles to our fleet. Newly painted in our eye catching Viamaster livery these vehicles are already proving popular with drivers booking courses.
Drivers wishing to learn in Manual Gearbox LGV’s will still be able to do so. Viamaster Training offer Drivers the option of choosing between learning and taking their tests in either an automatic or manual gearbox training vehicle.
