The aim is to provide an introduction of ADR and Dangerous goods By the end of this section, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the purpose of ADR and its significance in road transport safety.
  • Be familiar with the scope of ADR and who it applies to.
  • Recognise their own roles and responsibilities under ADR.
  • Identify the key risks associated with the transportation of dangerous goods.
