Introduction to the Fire Marshal Training Course
At Viamaster Training, we offer a practical one-day Fire Marshal Training course for groups of up to 12 candidates, covering fire legislation, fire prevention, emergency procedures, extinguisher use and supporting vulnerable occupants.
Fire Marshal Training
Our Fire Marshal Training course covers the key knowledge and practical skills required to support fire safety in the workplace, including:
- Fire Legislation: Understanding the legal responsibilities and duties of the responsible person under UK fire safety law.
- Fire Prevention: Identifying workplace fire hazards, potential ignition sources and combustible materials.
- Emergency Procedures: Conducting floor sweeps, inspecting fire doors and managing roll calls at designated assembly points.
- Fire Extinguisher Use: Making safe, informed decisions about extinguisher use and gaining practical experience with basic firefighting equipment.
- Supporting Vulnerable Occupants: Following appropriate procedures to assist people with disabilities and other vulnerable individuals during an evacuation.
On completion, candidates will receive a Viamaster Training in-house training certificate.
