Here at Viamaster Training, we provide a comprehensive and accredited forklift training course which is an RTITB-accredited training program. We have designed the course to provide both beginners and experienced operators with the skills and knowledge needed to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

Cost

Prices from £195+VAT per operator

Forklift Training can be delivered at our skills centre or off-site at customer premises with minimum disruption to operations. Our onsite training centre at Castleford meets RTITB standards for forklift operator training. RTITB Nationally Recognised Licence (NORS), Company In House Operator Accreditation or HSE Compliance Authorisation to Operate available. We provide the employer with an employee FLT operator compliance file that meets HSE guidelines.

HSE recommends FLT Operator Refresher Training every 3 years – and a maximum of 5 years.

All our Courses follow the RTITB codes of practice in the Safe Operations of Lift Trucks
– Theory and practical skills in the safe operation of fork lift trucks

Fork Lift Truck Refresher Training - Half Day

COUNTER BALANCE / REACH / BENDI / FLEXI / PIVOT STEER / TELEHANDLER / MOFFET / VNA

Dates throughout the year: In Centre or Customer Premises
Duration: Half Day (can be up to 1 day dependant on number of candidates)
Qualification: RTITB NORS Licence or In House Certification

Designed for:

  • Candidates with a previous relevant FLT certification.
  • Company compliance with Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations PUWER
  • Enable FLT operators to upgrade their skills, be assessed to current FLT training standards and renew operator Licence or Certificate.

Novice Fork Lift Truck Training - 4 Days

Dates throughout the year: In Centre or Customer Premises
Duration: Up to 4 days dependant on number of candidates
Qualification: RTITB NORS Licence or In House Certification

Designed for:

  • Candidates with little or no experience of operating FLT
  • Company Compliance with Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations PUWER
  • Enable FLT Operators to gain the basic skills and knowledge required to operate conventional fork lift trucks safely and gain an FLT Operator Licence or Certificate.

Existing Operator Fork Lift Basic Training - 2.5 Days

Duration: Up to 2.5 days dependant on number of candidates
Qualification: RTITB or In House Certification

Designed for:

  • 2-Day course for Candidates with experience of Operating FLT’s but have no recognised formal training or certificate.
  • Company Compliance with Provision and Use of Equipment Regulations PUWER
  • Enable FLT Operators with experience to gain the current skills and knowledge required to operate conventional fork lift trucks safely and gain a recognised FLT Operator Licence or Certificate.

  • Enable FLT Operators to upgrade their skills, be assessed to current FLT training standards and obtain new Operator Licence or Certificate.
